Getting Started
Learn what AfriqAgro is, how the marketplace works, and where to begin.
What is AfriqAgro? +
AfriqAgro is an agribusiness marketplace and information platform designed to connect agricultural buyers, sellers, farmers, logistics partners and support services. You can use the platform to discover products, manage orders and access tools such as market information, weather resources and expert support.
How do I start using AfriqAgro? +
Start by browsing the marketplace. If you want to buy, create or sign in to your customer account. If you want to sell agricultural products, use the seller registration process. Logistics providers can use the logistics-partner registration page.
Do I need an account to browse products? +
You can normally browse public products and help content without signing in. An account is recommended when you want to place orders, review order history, manage addresses or use account-specific services.
What types of agricultural products can I find? +
Availability depends on active sellers. Typical categories may include fresh produce, cereals, tubers, livestock-related products, farm inputs, machinery, poultry equipment, aquaculture supplies and other agribusiness products.
Who can use AfriqAgro? +
AfriqAgro is designed for individual consumers, farmers, cooperatives, agro-dealers, restaurants, retailers, institutional buyers, exporters, processors and logistics providers.
Can I use AfriqAgro on a phone? +
Yes. The Help Center and marketplace are designed to work on modern phones, tablets and desktop computers. For the best experience, use an updated browser and a stable internet connection.
Which countries or regions does AfriqAgro support? +
The platform is designed around Cameroon and the wider Central African/CEMAC agribusiness ecosystem. Product, delivery and service availability can vary by seller, city and country.
Where can I get help if I am completely new? +
Use the search box at the top of this Help Center, choose a topic category, or submit a support request at the bottom of the page. You can also use the Contact page for general enquiries.
Account & Login
Sign-in, passwords, account details, addresses and account security.
How do I create an AfriqAgro account? +
Open the account or registration area, enter the requested details, use a valid email address or phone number where required, create a strong password and complete any verification steps shown on screen.
I cannot log in. What should I do? +
First confirm that you are using the correct email address or username and password. Check Caps Lock, try the password-reset option, clear browser cache if the form behaves incorrectly, and make sure cookies are enabled. If the problem continues, submit a support ticket.
How do I reset my password? +
Go to the My Account sign-in page and use the lost-password or password-reset link. Follow the instructions sent to your registered email address.
I requested a password reset but did not receive the email. What now? +
Check Spam, Junk and Promotions folders, wait a few minutes, then try the reset again. Make sure the email address is the same one registered on the account. If no email arrives, contact support.
How do I change my name, phone number or address? +
Sign in to My Account and open the profile, account details or addresses section. Save your changes before leaving the page.
Can I have more than one delivery address? +
WooCommerce customer accounts can usually store billing and shipping information. At checkout you may also be able to enter a different shipping address for a specific order.
How do I protect my account from unauthorized access? +
Use a unique password, do not share login details or one-time codes, sign out on shared devices, avoid suspicious links and contact AfriqAgro if you notice an order or account change you did not make.
How can I delete or close my account? +
Submit a privacy/account request through support. Some transaction records may need to be retained where required for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling or legal compliance.
Buying & Orders
Product search, cart, checkout, order status and bulk purchasing.
How do I place an order on AfriqAgro? +
How do I know if a product is in stock? +
Check the product page for its current stock status, available quantity or out-of-stock notice. Stock can change quickly for seasonal or perishable agricultural products.
Can I change the quantity after adding an item to my cart? +
Yes, when the product allows it. Open your cart, change the quantity and update the cart before proceeding to checkout.
Can I edit or cancel an order after placing it? +
Contact support as quickly as possible. An order can only be changed or cancelled if the seller, warehouse or logistics process has not progressed too far. Perishable or already-dispatched goods may have stricter limits.
Where can I see my order history? +
Sign in to My Account and open the Orders section. The exact status labels depend on the order workflow configured on the site.
My order says processing. What does that mean? +
Processing usually means the order has been received and is being prepared, confirmed or fulfilled. It does not necessarily mean the shipment has already left the seller.
My order is on hold. What should I do? +
An on-hold order may be waiting for payment confirmation, stock confirmation or manual review. Check your email and order notes, then contact support if no action is shown.
Can I place a bulk or institutional order? +
Yes. For large quantities, repeated procurement or institutional purchasing, send the product details, quantities, destination and required delivery date through support. A quotation or custom fulfilment plan may be needed.
Can I ask a question before buying a product? +
Yes. Use the contact/support options shown on the product page when available or submit a Help Center ticket with the product name or URL.
Why does the final total differ from the product price? +
The final total can include quantity changes, taxes, shipping, delivery charges, discounts or other checkout adjustments. Review the order summary before you place the order.
Selling & Farmers
Seller registration, listings, inventory, prices and fulfilment.
How do I become a seller on AfriqAgro? +
Use the seller registration page and provide accurate identity, business or farm information. AfriqAgro may require verification before seller privileges or public listings are enabled.
What information should I prepare before registering as a seller? +
Prepare your full name or business name, contact details, location, product categories, payment details where required, farm or business documentation if requested, and clear product information.
How should I create a good product listing? +
Use a clear product name, accurate category, current price, correct unit of measure, realistic stock quantity, quality photos and a detailed description that explains origin, grade, size, packaging and any important handling information.
How do I improve my product visibility? +
Keep listings accurate, use descriptive titles, upload good original images, maintain stock, respond quickly to enquiries, fulfil orders reliably and avoid keyword stuffing or misleading claims.
How do I update product stock? +
Use your seller/product management area to change inventory whenever stock is received, sold, reserved or unavailable. Accurate stock reduces cancellations and customer complaints.
How should I price agricultural products? +
Consider production cost, quality grade, packaging, transport, market conditions and your target margin. You can also compare relevant information on the Market Prices page, while remembering that listed market data may not equal your exact selling price.
What happens when a customer places an order for my product? +
Follow the order-management process shown in your seller workflow. Confirm availability, prepare the correct quantity and quality, meet packaging requirements and coordinate pickup or delivery as instructed.
Can I sell perishable products? +
Yes, if the product and delivery workflow support it. Make stock, harvest timing, storage, packaging and delivery expectations very clear because perishables require faster fulfilment.
Can cooperatives or agribusiness companies sell on AfriqAgro? +
Yes. Cooperative and commercial seller accounts may be suitable for larger catalogs or volumes. Additional verification or business information may be required.
Why was my product rejected or unpublished? +
A listing may be rejected if information is incomplete, inaccurate, duplicated, prohibited, misleading or inconsistent with marketplace quality requirements. Review the listing and any moderation note before resubmitting.
Payments & Pricing
Checkout payments, failed transactions, charges and payment safety.
Which payment methods does AfriqAgro accept? +
The payment methods available to you are the methods displayed at checkout. They can vary by country, order type, payment gateway and site configuration.
My payment failed. What should I do? +
Do not repeatedly submit the payment. Check your balance or card/mobile-money status, confirm your billing details and internet connection, then retry once. If money was debited but the order did not confirm, contact support with the transaction reference.
I was charged but my order still shows unpaid. What should I do? +
Keep the payment reference, amount, date/time and order number. Submit them through the support form so the transaction can be checked before you attempt another payment.
Is it safe to pay through AfriqAgro? +
Only use payment options presented through the official AfriqAgro checkout or an approved payment instruction. Never send passwords, PINs or one-time codes to a seller or person claiming to be support.
Why did the price change before checkout? +
Agricultural prices and stock can change. A variation, seller update, quantity choice, promotion expiration, tax or delivery condition can also change the final amount.
Can I pay a seller outside AfriqAgro? +
For marketplace orders, use the official checkout or documented AfriqAgro process whenever possible. Paying outside the platform can reduce the evidence available if there is a dispute.
How do refunds reach me? +
Refund timing and method depend on the original payment method, payment gateway and refund decision. Support can confirm whether a refund has been initiated, but banks or payment providers may need additional processing time.
Can AfriqAgro issue an invoice or receipt? +
Order confirmations, receipts or invoices depend on the checkout configuration and seller setup. If you require a formal document for business procurement, mention that requirement before or immediately after ordering.
Delivery & Logistics
Shipping, pickup, delivery delays, damaged goods and logistics partners.
How is delivery arranged? +
Delivery depends on the seller, product, destination and logistics options offered at checkout. Some orders may be delivered directly, transferred through a logistics partner or collected from an agreed pickup point.
How long will delivery take? +
Delivery time depends on product availability, seller location, destination, weather, road conditions and the selected delivery method. Perishable products may follow different schedules from machinery or non-perishable goods.
How can I track my order? +
Check your order page and email/SMS updates for tracking information when tracking is available. If no tracking update appears after the expected dispatch time, contact support with your order number.
My delivery is late. What should I do? +
Check your latest order status first. Then contact support with the order number, destination and expected delivery date so the seller or logistics partner can be contacted.
What should I do if products arrive damaged? +
Take clear photos immediately, keep the packaging, record the delivery time and report the issue as soon as possible. For perishables, document temperature or visible spoilage where relevant.
What if the quantity delivered is wrong? +
Compare the delivered quantity with your order confirmation before accepting where possible. Take photos or a short video, note the shortage and report the discrepancy with the order number.
Can I choose pickup instead of delivery? +
Pickup is only available when the seller or order workflow offers it. If you need pickup for a bulk order, request it before payment or contact support.
How do I become a logistics partner? +
Use the logistics partner registration page and provide your operating location, vehicle or fleet information, contact details and any requested verification documents.
What information should a logistics partner keep updated? +
Keep vehicle type, carrying capacity, service areas, contact details, availability and any special handling capability current. Accurate logistics data improves matching and delivery planning.
Market Prices, Weather & Experts
Understand AfriqAgro information tools and how to use them responsibly.
What is the Market Prices page? +
The Market Prices page is designed to display commodity price information by product and market. Treat it as decision-support information, not a guaranteed transaction price.
Why can a seller price differ from the market price shown? +
Actual prices can differ because of grade, freshness, packaging, volume, transport, season, location, seller costs and negotiation. Market-price information is a reference point rather than a mandatory selling price.
How should I use the Weather & Climate page? +
Use the Weather & Climate page to support planning for planting, harvesting, transport and field operations. Forecasts can change, so review updates regularly and combine them with local observations.
Can weather information guarantee farm results? +
No. Weather forecasts are estimates and should not be treated as guarantees. Crop outcomes also depend on soil, seed, disease, farm management, water access and other local conditions.
What is the Experts Community? +
The Experts Community is designed to connect users with approved agricultural professionals such as agronomists, animal technicians or other specialists when verified profiles are available.
How do I know an expert is available? +
Use the availability indicator on the expert profile. Chat or video-call buttons should only become actionable when a real verified expert has an active communication link configured.
Is advice from an expert the same as a guarantee? +
No. Expert guidance supports decision-making but results depend on the accuracy of the information you provide and real farm conditions. Urgent animal-health, food-safety or regulated issues may require an in-person professional or local authority.
Can I apply to become an AfriqAgro expert? +
Yes, if the Experts Community application form is enabled. Applicants should provide accurate professional and credential information. Profiles should only be published after verification.
Returns, Refunds & Disputes
Wrong items, damaged orders, refunds, cancellations and disputes.
Can I return an agricultural product? +
Return eligibility depends on the item, condition, seller policy and applicable law. Perishable or opened goods may have different rules from machinery, unopened inputs or non-perishable products.
How do I request a return or refund? +
Submit a support request with your order number, the item involved, what went wrong and clear supporting photos when relevant. Do not discard the item or packaging until you receive instructions.
What evidence should I provide for a damaged or incorrect order? +
Provide the order number, photos of the item and packaging, quantity received, delivery date/time and a short explanation of the problem. Video can be helpful for machinery faults or major delivery damage.
How long does a refund take? +
The review time depends on the issue and evidence. After approval, payment-provider processing times can still vary. Keep your ticket or order reference until the refund is fully received.
What if the seller and buyer disagree? +
Keep communication factual and provide transaction evidence. AfriqAgro support can review platform records, photos, order notes and payment information available to it, but some disputes may require third-party payment providers or legal/regulatory processes.
Can I cancel a perishable order? +
Cancellation may be limited once harvesting, packing or dispatch begins. Contact support immediately if you need to cancel a perishable order.
What happens if an item is missing from my order? +
Report the missing item promptly with the order number and delivery details. The seller or fulfilment team may verify packing and delivery records before replacement or refund options are decided.
Can I dispute a payment directly with my bank or provider? +
You can contact your payment provider, but first use the AfriqAgro support process when possible so the order can be investigated. Duplicate dispute processes can slow resolution if the transaction is still being reviewed.
Security & Trust
Fraud prevention, suspicious messages, payment safety and privacy.
How can I tell whether a message is really from AfriqAgro? +
Be cautious with unexpected requests for passwords, PINs, one-time codes or off-platform payments. Verify suspicious messages using contact information published on the official AfriqAgro website.
Will AfriqAgro ask for my password or mobile-money PIN? +
You should never share your password, card PIN, mobile-money PIN or one-time verification code with a seller, courier or person claiming to be support.
What should I do if someone asks me to pay outside the official process? +
Do not send the money until you verify the request. Use the Help Center or official contact page and include screenshots or the phone number/account that contacted you.
I think my account was compromised. What should I do? +
Change your password immediately, review recent orders and account details, sign out of shared devices if possible and contact support with details of any unauthorized activity.
How should I protect personal information when speaking with sellers or buyers? +
Share only information needed to complete the transaction. Avoid sending identity documents, financial credentials or sensitive personal data through informal chat unless an official verified process specifically requires them.
How can sellers avoid fraudulent orders? +
Use platform order records, verify payment status through the official dashboard or payment process, keep proof of handover/delivery and be cautious when a buyer pressures you to bypass normal procedures.
How can buyers avoid fake product claims? +
Review product details carefully, compare seller information, ask specific questions, keep the transaction on-platform where possible and report listings that appear misleading or impossible.
How do I report suspicious content or behavior? +
Submit a support ticket and choose Security or Fraud. Include the relevant product URL, account name, message screenshot, transaction reference or other evidence.
Technical Troubleshooting
Fix common browser, checkout, upload, mobile and website problems.
A page is blank or not loading. What should I try first? +
Refresh the page, confirm your internet connection, try a private/incognito window and temporarily disable browser extensions that may block scripts. If the problem continues, clear cache for AfriqAgro and try an updated browser.
Why does the site look broken on my phone? +
Rotate the device back to portrait, refresh the page, reset browser zoom to 100%, clear cached site files and test another modern browser. If the layout problem remains, send support a screenshot and your phone/browser model.
The Add to Cart button does nothing. What can I do? +
Make sure any required product options are selected, cookies and JavaScript are enabled, then refresh the product page. If the issue continues, test in a private browser window and report the product URL.
Checkout keeps reloading or showing an error. +
Remove expired coupons, confirm required billing/shipping fields, check your network connection and retry in a private browser window. If the error occurs after payment, do not pay again until the transaction is checked.
My product image will not upload. +
Use a common image format such as JPG, PNG or WebP, keep the file reasonably sized and avoid unusual filenames. If WordPress rejects the file, note the exact error message and send it to support.
I see an old version of a page after it was updated. +
Your browser, WordPress cache, CDN or hosting cache may still have the previous version. Hard-refresh the page and clear applicable caches before reporting the problem.
A button opens the wrong page. +
Copy the page URL where the incorrect button appears and tell support which button you clicked and where you expected it to go. A screenshot is useful.
I cannot submit a form. +
Complete all required fields, check the email/phone format, disable aggressive ad/script blockers and retry. If a security or nonce error appears, refresh the page before submitting again.
The site is slow. What information should I send support? +
Send the page URL, approximate time, your city/country, device type, browser name, whether Wi-Fi or mobile data was used, and a screenshot of any visible error.
How do I report a reproducible technical bug? +
Provide step-by-step instructions: what page you opened, what you clicked, what you expected, what actually happened, browser/device information and screenshots. This is the fastest way for a developer to reproduce the issue.
Advanced & Business
Institutional procurement, data, integrations, bulk orders and professional use.
Can AfriqAgro support institutional procurement? +
Yes, the platform can be used as a starting point for institutional sourcing. For high-volume procurement, send product specifications, quantities, delivery locations, frequency and documentation requirements to support.
Can a buyer request a quotation instead of purchasing immediately? +
For large or specialized purchases, request a quotation through support or the relevant seller/business workflow. Include the exact quantity, grade, packaging, destination and deadline.
Can AfriqAgro support recurring supply contracts? +
Recurring supply arrangements depend on seller capacity, logistics and commercial terms. Contact support with the expected schedule and monthly or seasonal quantities.
Can I use market-price information for business planning? +
Yes, as one reference input. Do not treat a displayed market price as a guaranteed future price or executable quote. Build procurement decisions using several sources and current seller quotations.
Does AfriqAgro provide an API? +
Public or partner API availability depends on the integrations currently enabled by AfriqAgro. Businesses that need catalog, price, order or logistics integrations should contact support with the intended use case.
Can my ERP or procurement system integrate with AfriqAgro? +
Potential integration depends on your system and available AfriqAgro interfaces. Send the platform name, required data flow, authentication requirements and expected transaction volume to the technical team.
How should a cooperative manage multiple farmers on the platform? +
Use a consistent internal process for product ownership, stock updates, quality grading, order acceptance and payment reconciliation. Contact AfriqAgro before onboarding a complex multi-user cooperative structure.
Can AfriqAgro support export or cross-border agribusiness? +
The marketplace may help buyers and sellers discover opportunities, but export transactions can involve customs, phytosanitary, tax, quality, transport and regulatory requirements. Confirm all legal and documentary obligations for the destination market.
How can a company request partnership or technical support? +
Use the support form below, choose Business or Partnership, and describe your organization, project, countries, required AfriqAgro services, timeline and a contact person.
